About the Samaritan Center Café
• The Samaritan Center has two café locations (Springdale and Rogers) is open to the general public to serve hot meals in a restaurant style setting. Clients are seated at tables and served their meals by happy, smiling volunteers who often take time to sit and visit with familiar faces.
• An example of a typical meal might consist of baked chicken breasts, salad, rolls, with cake or a pastry for dessert.
• Meals are prepared on-site in health department certified café kitchens utilizing food generously donated from nine NWA-area restaurants: Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Noodles Italian Kitchen, Atlanta Bread Company, Mimi’s Café, Panera Bread and Red Lobster. Old Tyme Donuts and Daylight Donuts in Lowell provide a weekly donation of pastries.
